Nasarawa State Set To Attract International Investment At First Nigeria-China Economic Forum

His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has affirmed the readiness of the Nasarawa State Government and people towards attracting international investment and partnership in various sectors of the Nasarawa State economy.

Gov. Almakura made this known as he presented the investment potentials of the State at the first Nigeria-China Governors Business and Investment Forum holding Guangzhou, China , where he showcased the vast investment potential available in the state as well as the numerous efforts made by the present administration to enhance greater development and provide an investor friendly environment to those will to partner with the state .

The multi-cultural event had a number of Nigerian Governors in attendance which such as Governors of Oyo, Benue, Zamfara , Borno to name a few.

The Business Forum will focus on several aspects of the economy including agriculture, solid minerals exploration, Small and Medium Enterprises development, transportation, housing and real estate as well as energy. The event provides a platform for participants to access investment funding, develop new markets for Nigerian products and procure agriculture machinery.

The event convened by the Nigerian Governors Forum would afford them the opportunity to have access to potential private companies and China state provincial leaders who are willing to invest heavily in our economy. They will use the same opportunity to avail them the benefit they stand to get by investing in Nigeria , offer insights into how Nigeria can among others, develop its industrial and agricultural sectors along the Chinese model.
