His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Sule promised to seek more areas of collaboration in various areas of health and education with the Government and good people of Japan to better the economic and livelihood of the citizens of Nasarawa state.
He made this pledge today in Azara Development Area of Awe local government, during the commissioning of rice reapers and thrashers machines.
The Governor said the intervention is in tandem with the vision and development objectives of his administration, aimed at giving agriculture its right place as the major mover of the state economy.
He further revealed that agriculture is the topmost priority of his administration, and he is working relentlessly to make farming affordable to pave a way for meaningful and sustainable development in the state.
On his part, His Excellency, the Japanese Ambassador to Nigerian Yutaka Kikuta, thanked the Nasarawa state Governor for his support and advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the equipment.
