Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule received the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery Economy Stimulus (NG-CARES) State Coordinator and his supporting team.

Dahiru Umar Ibrahim led programme coordinators across the 3 platforms of the World Bank Sponsored Pro-poor programme namely: Fadama Platform, CSDA Platform and Cash Transfer Platform.

They were in Government House to present to the Governor awards won by Nasarawa state.

These are
1. best performing state in the Country
2. ⁠best performing state in North Central region

The awards were conferred after a routine independent verification assessment. The awards attracted to the state 13.6bn naira for observing due diligence on part of the state NG-CARES team.
