The West Africa College of Physicians have lauded the huge strides made by the Nasarawa State Government towards the provision of healthcare facilities, especially in the rural areas.

University College Hospital ibadan made the commendation during an accreditation visit to Nasarawa State were they lauded the state for the provision of healthcare facilities and healthcare services to the residents of Nasarawa state .
The commendation came as the as the College visited Nasarawa State Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) and the Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Center Kwandere, where they gave DASH accreditation in the area of Family Medicine.
The College lauded the Nasarawa State Government for its tertiary health programmes declaring that Nasarawa had one of the best so far.
The College further declared that the Kwandere Primary Health was a a model that should be used in the country for effective healthcare services and rural posting of medical personnel.
Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) is also preparing to receive accreditation teams for Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as Surgery departments.
